About me

My name is Patrick Kreutzer and I am a PhD student in Computer Science at the Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-N├╝rnberg. I obtained my Bachelor's Degree in spring 2014 and my Master's Degree in late 2015.

My research currently focuses on the automated analysis of source code archives. We are working on systems that mine the data stored in software repositories, e.g. to create recommendations for developers based on changes made in the past.

Overall, my main interests are compiler construction, as well as the design and concepts of programming languages. Furthermore, I am fascinated by everything that deals with machine learning and the analysis of data, one of the subjects I am currently dealing with being recommender systems. I have a basic but solid knowledge of computer architecture and the implementation of operating systems.

The programming language I am most familiar with and that I am using most of the time is Java. Other languages I am using are C/C++ and Python (although I am not a huge fan of dynamic typing). I also have a decent knowledge of some web technologies like HTML/CSS, PHP and JavaScript.
